I guess I should have expected it , but I was so disappointed in this piece of furniture that I was ready to throw it in the garbage before I was even finished putting it together . It has the worst step by step instructions and the parts are china all the way you dont even need a drill so that should tell you how sturdy it is . If I could figure out how to box it back up and send it back I would .
I will be going furniture shopping soon at a real store where I can see what I buy before I waste another 255.00
