This bed is aming real solid wood not fiberboard. I had to re/tighten the bolts after a few months but overall Im VERY satisfied with this bed cant beat the price it was easy to assemble and great quality. The slats on the bottom are a little narrow so if you dont center them one side might not catch the screws that is my only complaint. very pleasantly surprised
