HAPPY!! Well designed and easy to assemble. It took two adults roughly 45 min to assemble the top and about 25 min to assemble the bottom, it probably would have been quicker if we had been more focused. The hardware was all present except for two barrel nuts (its possible that we lost those). The directions were very straightfoward and it is definitely possible for one adult to assemble the bed on their own, although two are needed to stack the beds. We initially only assembled the top bunk for our 4 year old son while our baby girl took his old crib/toddler bed.
1 year later we have just assembled the rest of the bunk bed and plan to have our daughter use the bottom bunk, rather than convert her crib into a toddler bed. She has just learned to walk/run/climb and she loves the bed, although she needs a step stool to get on and off. The bunk is sturdy enough for my husband or I to sit on either bunk (were both about 135lbs). I would trust it for two small adults, but no one above 200lbs.
I chose this bunk over others because of the price (199), the angle of the ladder (5 y/o is afraid of vertical ladders and heights), the aesthetics, and the apparent sturdiness. I recommend it.
