We were looking for a platform bed with storage for a teenagers room. This works very well, is very sturdy. One piece was broken, and we returned it, with s usual speedy replacement. It was fairly complicated to assemble, taking several hours, but it looks well and so far has handled four or five teenagers sitting on it at a time without damage. Altogether an excellent value. It was packaged nicely
