Well designed product, and well though out directions. Especially helpful, actual size illustration of nuts and bolts at bottom of each page. I found it easier to assemble than Ikea furniture.
SUGGESTIONS: Use a ratcheting allen wrench rather than included wrench (much faster and easier). Just be careful not to overtighten. Stop tightening when you see dimple start.
I bought two mattresses prior to receiving bed. The trundle used a 6 memory foam mattress, as suggested. However, I purchased a 10 memory foam for main bed. I would try using the same 6 mattress for top, especially if you intend to utilize the bed as a couch. The 10 sits too high and 6 seems just as comfortable as the 10.Good.
