Just recieved all of the boxes, unpacked and assembled the futon. While Im not a fan of finger-joined wood, it is mostly in places that dont show when the matress is in place. The instructions are good, easy to follow and can be assembed by one person, two would be easier at certain points. Definately need two people to get the boxes upstairs. The hardware is good, but some of the hex heads in the 60 mm bolts were too shallow and rounded out. The rest was fine, easily able to tighten, took about 1.5 hrs by myself, not rushing. I bought the complete queen frame with matress, the matress is firm and very comfy. As others have commented, it is a bit heavy and clunky to convert to a bed, but I dont plan to do that very often, so no big deal. Over all, way, way better than a sofa sleeper! No steel frame running down your back, just a well supported matress to sleep on. Time for a well deserved nap.
Nice Futon, good quality construction..
