Very easy to assemble! We wanted to upgrade our teenagers bed to a full (from a twin) and choose this bed due to the fact that its a fairly small bedroom and this would allow for there to be some extra room on the floor for an oversized bean bag. It took the two of us several hours to put the bed together. There were a few holes that didnt quite line up and we had a very hard time putting in the bars that hold up the mattress. My partner ended up having to make some minor adjustments to the in order to get the last few bars in. I also didnt realize how big/tall it actually was! We ended up having to take down the ceiling fan in the bedroom so she could climb up the ladder without hitting the fan (or hitting it while she was sleeping). The bed itself isnt squeaky but does wobble when shes climbing up or moving around. It doesnt look/feel unsafe however. If we had to do it all over again, I dont know if I would pick still pick this model or not but it was priced well and fit our needs. Either way, she loves her new bed and I guess that is all that really matters!
