Its hard to tell that the legs are metal because they look like wood! The fabric is really soft but the scotch guard didnt take to it even after following the directions and doing 2 coats. Oh well, the fabric is a rich and the fabric came in perfect condition. One of the legs on one of the chairs wont screw in all the way so it is a little loose but overall really happy with them. Easy directions.
