I wouldnt recommend if your kid moves a lot at night while sleeping. I got it for my 3 year old because the toddler bed was too small for her. She loved it and slept in it a few nights without problems. We put 2 bed rails to keep her safe (one on the side and one by the head), not even a week in and she fell off while she slept. Her screams woke us up and we couldnt help but to panic. She hurt her back and legs (big bruises), fortunately nothing major. She hasnt wanted to asleep on it ever since because shes scared. Its been 5 months. Shes a crazy sleeper and will sometimes end up sleeping with her head by the foot of the bed. She never fell off her toddler bed though so we thought shed be safe with 28 rail guards. If you have a normal sleeper, this bed is a lot of fun! She also loves playing house under it.
