This wood frame beats pressed wood all day long! This is a bed that will last for many years, and will go down from oldest to the youngest in the family as a hand me down. With all the great things I can say about this bed, there's one thing: if you're disabled or not savvy with putting things together, then I'd find help before buying this bed. If you are able well then ready to work!!! Because work,you will my friend. This bed is in 500 pieces, it seemed, and starts from tiny pieces to big side panels, but the good part is the instructions are pretty good! So, all in all: great bed, but you will be making this bed from top to bottom.
