Fits. A great small scale coat, shoe rack. We have this on our covered porch and it works great for our needs. Definitely on the small side of coat racks, which works great. The build quality is good, however the hardware does show on the sides. It would have been nice if it had included wood plugs to cover the hardware. Overall a very nice coat rack for the price
