This daybed does not work for Twin XL mattresses and thus does not extend to King size, but it does fit a Twin mattress or when extended two Twin size mattresses perfectly. The build was very easy and straight forward. It feels solid and comfortable. The slide extension is really nice. If you are looking for a daybed, this is structurally a good choice. Must have!
