The instruction manual couldnt be more vague if it tried. You will need a cordless power drill as there is a step where you need to put in screws that dont have pre/drilled holes. Also, make sure you have it done right because there is pretty much no turning back once construction begins / unlike a lot of other assembly by numbers furniture on .
I personally wouldnt buy this nightstand again considering the cost, the quality of the engineering, and how long I plan on keeping it (it will transition to a guest bedroom once I get a proper nightstand).
