Shipping and packing was adequate to prevent damage. Third party freight company was quick and courteous. Assembly was a breeze...literally threading nuts. Finish on all pieces was perfect except for a small piece of edge laminate easily re-glued. Very sturdy. Great starter set for daughters apartment. This is a great piece. Bought it for the basement family room and it fits perfectly down there.
