The bed arrived fairly quickly, easy to assemble. We have a 6 inch mattress on the trundle, and when we put just a basic sheet and thin comforter on it, thectrundle doesnt pull out or slide under easily. The trundle is probably best suited for a 4 inch matress. Other than that, the bed is sturdy and a space saver! Best deal for a very nice
