I am so glad we decided on the bunk bedit is so sturdy! The directions werent as bad as I was expecting based on previous reviews. My hubby and I got it put together in three hours. The bedroom was such that we didnt have a lot of room and had to keep rearranging things. If you have a bigger space, it probably wont take that long. I love that these are two beds put together, so if we ever have a bigger space, the girls can have their own room. Also, we were most impressed with how well everything was packed. It took 5 days to get the second package after the first arrived. We ordered a 6 mattress from a mattress store for the top bunk. We also liked how secure the ladder was, even without extra hardware drilled in. And the room underneathwow! I got some cheap bins from Walmart to put their mass of toys, stuffed animals, etc, during the bedroom re/do, and they fit underneath! Hurray for more storage!! Tonight is my youngests first time sleeping on it. After my oldest gets her mattress, Ill add on my review.
