Bed arrived with some chips but not terrible considering the condition of the boxes. I discovered during assembly that I was missing some cams and screws bur I was planning on going to puck up some hardwood for reinforcement anyways so I spent about $12 on some 6 ft pine strip, (to connect the head and foot halves together) and extra cams and screws.
Its a very nice looking bed, but it seems to be a little narrower than my sons mattress and I dont think I would trust it not to break without a little DIY strengthening.
Also, if your drawers dont fit, try swapping them. They are slightly different sizes. Very good Not Perfect
