We set up these beds yesterday. They were just what we needed in terms of size and capacity for our city home and a third kid. I like that it is solid wood and not particle board, but the wood is soft so it dents easily / I nicked it a few times taking all the parts/labels stickers off. That being said, the parts labels were very helpful and we didnt have any major problems putting it together. Definitely agree with recommendation for two people and a power drill with both a Phillips head and a hex bit. We also found we needed to switch out the bit holder to the narrowest one we had in order to fit it in the screw holes in the slats. We were missing one reinforcement dowel, but made a makeshift one with a pencil and tape that worked out ok. The kids are thrilled and it seems like once it is assembled it will hold up to a reasonable amount of wear and tear.
