Pluses: very easy to put together, like 5 minutes, if that. And the wood seems nice and sturdy, except for a few rough edges ( more about that shortly), and I haven't noticed any noise or squeaks from movement.
Minuses: some of the slats/planks are not the exact same size. Some fit more snugly than others. Minor detail since I haven't noticed any noises or issues yet. One somewhat disappointing issue though is that the corners are rough. If you're not careful, you can really scratch yourself up if you brush up on one of the corners. I have a couple of scratches and am trying to train myself to make wide turns around this bed. One last modest detail- the slats are somewhat easily visible.
