I owned this frame for about 5 years and just got rid of it. I like the easy setup - it's fast to put together and no tools are required. However, over time the metal brackets bent a little bit, and the center braces started to slip out of the frame and cause the slots to fall and the mattress would collapse to the ground. Super annoying, especially when it happened in the middle of the night. The first time it happened I shoved some folded pieces of paper in either end of the slot where the center braces sit, and that worked for about a year. I also tried some other simple home fixes with felt pads and such. But over time it happened more and more frequently, until it was happening once or twice a week, and I gave up.
I love the concept and the construction, but it doesn't hold up over time, and in retrospect I wouldn't have paid over $500 for 5 years of use. If you buy this bed, I recommend adding some bolts or wooden braces to provide better support for the middle braces.
