I wanted a fabric chair for my office as Im not a huge fan of leather, and this was a nice color. I took a chance ordering it as I was not able to actually sit in it and test it out before buying it - I looked for it in stores but no one carried it. When it arrived, I found it was not very well-packed... stuff was easily rolling around in the box and I found one of the caster wheels was broken and unusable. Furthermore the knob to adjust the seat tilt was also cracked and broken. I was able to assemble it using one of the caster wheels from my old chair just for the time being until they could send a replacement.
The chair came with a paper giving the True Innovations Customer Service number and hours, and I called on a Friday at 3p when the paper said they were open, and I got a recording saying they were closed. So I called the following week and asked about that, and they guy told me that their hours different on Friday than they were on the paper. That was annoying.
He agreed to send me a whole set of replacement caster wheels, and in order to fix the broken seat tilt knob, Id have to send back the whole seat base which I didnt want to do. I said Id just live with it, esp. since once I adjust the tilt to my liking, I really dont need it anymore and its under the chair out of sight for the most part. The caster wheel replacements arrived as promised and in a reasonable time.
I also found while assembling the chair that there are little silver swooshes that go into the arm just for looks, but they dont fit right and dont stay in.. I had to tape them just to stay in, which looks really tacky. Almost might be better to just leave them out.
All that said.. this IS a very comfortable cushy chair. I like the size of it, how it tilts, and I am comfortable sitting in it all day for my work-from-home job. I would LOVE it if it werent for these annoying things that came along with it.
Comfy chair but with some flaws
