The chair is beautiful and added the finishing touch I was looking for to my new guest room. The assembly was easy and took me and my husband about 10 to 15 minutes to complete. (We worked as a team / I read the instructions, held the chair in place and assemble and handed my husband the bolts and washers.)
The chair cushion is on the firm/hard side so therefore not real comfortable but also not too bad / it will serve its purpose as a side (bedroom) chair. Yes, the chair appears to be quite sturdy.
