Well this bench is very pretty and works very well in my guestroom it was a bear to assemble. My suggestion is to leave the legs as loose as possible because youre going to have to push and pull and have somebody else help you align the holes to get that bottom part in. After several attempts and getting that bottom X to fit I ended up having to use a hammer and a wrench to hold the Allen wrench to tighten the screws once things were aligned. I definitely worked up a sweat.
