After reading all of the reviews for this product, I took the chance and made the purchase. After a three hour solo assembly, I offer this review:
Hardware: Each little individual bag of screws/hardware was clearly labeled, which was extremely helpful in the assembly process.
Directions: The written instructions could have been a bit more clear, but anyone should be able to follow them unless they just haven't assembled anything ever in their life.
Fit and Finish: All pieces fit together perfectly. Unless I'm and assembly genius, others complaining about things not fitting either received a one-off bad product or don't know how to put things together. There was one minor flaw in the finish of the product, but I was going for a rustic/country feel so it actually adds to the look.
Final Product: This item is extremely sturdy and doesn't feel like the cheap particle board stuff you get from Ikea/Walmart/Target. I was interested in a comparable item from a local furniture store, but saved almost $400 with this item by simply assembling it myself. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase and would not hesitate to purchase other items from this distributor in the future.
