Its the right amount of comfort for my liking. Id say medium firmness, so If you are looking for something soft and to sink into then this wouldnt be for you. This chair is pretty deep.I am 52 and my feet do not touch the floor when I sit in it so I paired it with a pouf.
I only wish that there would be options to chose from for the wood of the legs. All the wood in our nursery is light in color and the legs to the rocker and dark.
