    BEST INVESTMENT EVER!!!!

LOVE THIS BED!! I suffer from various bone issues from a car accident some 22 years ago. Over the years, my daily pain level has increased exponentially. 3 years ago, I bought a new Queen Size Pillow Top (top of the line at that), with a new Box Spring and a new Solid Wood Sleigh Bed bed frame. Over the last 18 months or so, I could not sleep more than 4 hours without having get out of bed, loosen up my bones and, maybe, go back to bed in a couple of hours, for a couple of hours more sleep. This was really messing up my sleeping habits. I finally decided to start looking into a adjustable bed. After lots of investigation, I came across this bed in , USED, for 350. BEST INVESTMENT EVER!! Once properly positioned, I am now sleeping through the night, anywhere from 6 to 8 hours and, with less aches and pains. I could not have made a better choice for the price point. I ended up getting rid of the box spring and replacing it with the adjustable frame. Same high end Pillow Top mattress and was able to keep my Sleigh Bed bed frame. Im just tickled!! All that said, Id like to add my take on the assembly issue in conjunction with the weight of the product. This IS a heavy item. Two FedEx guys to bring it in the house. So, I read a lot about people saying to lay the bed flat, upside down, put on the legs, assemble the two main pieces and then having to flip it over. This does not need to happen, especially when youre by yourself. I was lucky enough to rest the two main pieces, sideways, INSIDE my existing bed frame, with the connecting loo t of the two main pieces facing each other. Screw in the legs, slide the two main closer together so the connecting points meet, and then slide in the connecting bolts. Plug it all up, and then lay the bed flat, right side up, in the bed frame. Voila!! It took me about an hour by myself. I just had to take out the center supporting slat in the bed frame to make room for the two motors(head and foot). The bed fits like a glove inside my Sleigh Bed bed frame. Im sooo happy!! Re the mattress, you really dont need a foam mattress, like you read everyone buying for the bed, thinking this gives you the best flexibility. Unless you really need a new mattress, just make sure your existing pillow top mattress is flexible enough to handle the leg lift without flopping up. Hope this review helps. YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY WITH THE INVESTMENT!! Promise!!!
