I am very pleased with the base. I bought the combo with the 14 mattress that came with two pillows. I am a 60 yo woman and with some creative moving procedures, I was able to get the packages from the delivery point to the room and set up the base and the mattress by myself. Instructions were easy to follow, except it would be nice if the mattress package was a bit more descriptive of which way to put the mattress roll on the bed frame in order to get it to expand out with the top side up. Functionally, the base works as described and the remote is easy to use. The mattress is very comfortable but it does take a few days for the odor to dissipate. So far, I am happy with this purchase.
