I love this adjustable base, my favorite position is the Zero Gravity setting. The setup was real easy, simply measure your existing bed height from the floor. Measure your mattress thickness, then figure the remaining distance from the top of the new frame to the provided leg lengths. Then all you have to do is set it down on the legs and put the mattress on it. Other than moving the box into the bedroom, this is the hardest thing you have to do. Total unwrap and setup time was about 30 minutes, give or take and make the bed up.
My only complaint is the remote, it works great (was preprogrammed and worked out of the box) and has a nice subtle blue back light (which only comes on for 1 second, seriously, 1 second, I wrote A/Z and there is no adjustment). Also, the lettering is somewhat small and other than the oblong up and down of the head and leg buttonsthe other buttons are mostly all the same size. So if you wear glasses or are sleepy, working with the controls can be a task until youve memorized the positions.
The vibration mode is awesome, it put me to sleep the first night in just a couple minutes. I havent had a use yet for the USB ports, so I cannot report on those.
It moves quietly with only a subtle noise from the drive motors. It moves into position very smoothly, no hesitation or jerky movements.
I can highly recommend this unit, the girlfriend loves it and the dog isnt exactly sure why the bed is moving yet, but he deals with it once its in position. I sleep better longer and I dont have many of the aches and pains from the old flat position.
