We had to add an extra bed in a jiffy so we could accommodate an out/of/state family member for a month. We have an iDealBed i3 model but that particular model was sold out, so I opted for the least expensive adjustable bed I could find for us to sleep on in the guest room. Compared to the cost of a box spring and standard bed, this is a great deal, and much more stable than a platform bed with slats.
This model is comfortable and stable with 6 wide legs (maybe even a little more stable than the iDealbed). The remote works well and the motors are responsive. The fact that allows a payment plan on this bed is wonderful.
There are 3 noticeable differences compared to iDealbed i3:
1/ The remote on this bed has more buttons, but doesnt have a button that resets the bed to flat position.
2/ The legs arent adjustable to stabilize on uneven floors (unless you simply loosen the leg a bit). I have carpet so this wasnt a problem.
3/ This bed comes 98% preassembled: all you have to do is snip some cable ties and screw 4 of the legs on. This may seem great, but it makes moving the box into your house and into the bedroom more heavy and unwieldy. This also makes it near impossible to set up by yourself. Youll definitely need a helper to unfold and flip the bed over. Oh and the cable tie in the center of the bed (that has the rails to hold the mattress on the foot side) is a pain in the butt to snip. Good luck on that one.
Good basic adjustable bed
