My wife and I bought this bed frame about 3 years ago when we first got married. We were hesitant at first because I was concerned the motors would break in a year or two and wed be left with an expensive regular frame. This turned out not to be the case!
Upon arrival it was fairly easy to put together, took me about 1 hour as I recall. Just lay everything out on the floor where it looks like it goes and it becomes easier connect everything.
As for the beds performance, 3 years ago I remember thinking that because of the decent price the raise/lower motors or vibration motors would probably go out in a year or two. The parts seemed somewhat inexpensive, although heavy enough to be durable. Here it is 3 years later and we have used the raise/lower function for watching movies while eating dinner on an almost daily basis. The motors have never given me a single problem and seem to be just as strong as when we first purchased. We are very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who is going to have a memory foam mattress. On that note our mattress has been perfectly fine over the years and isnt permanently bent from raising and lowering the back of the bed. We use the vibration function mainly just for the feet (theres upper and lower). The upper one kind of vibrates your head when youre lying there which isnt bad but maybe a little annoying. The foot massage however actually feels really good and you can fall asleep while its on (it cuts off on its own eventually).
I would add that the one complaint weve had has been the fitted sheets often pop off the top of the mattress after raising and lowering the back once or twice. This isnt the beds fault, its the sheets. If you can find a comfy mattress protector style fitted sheet that goes all the way around the mattress and has 0 chance of slipping off, thatd be the best solution for sure. Otherwise you may have to adjust the fitted sheet every other day. We have regular queen fitted bamboo sheets and they work great but our next fitted sheet will definitely be something that wont slip off.
Love the purchase, best weve made in the past 3 years. Would buy another in the future.
