This is a high quality base full of functionality. My only complaint is that the remote wasnt paired with the base. After searching the internet and trying every possible combination to no avail, had to call the manufacturer. Remote was paired and works great now. This information should have been included in the packaging if it is a known issue. TO PAIR: Press Head DOWN, Foot UP, and RESET button on the control beneath the bed at the same time.
