I purchased this base after my previous base died after 7 years. The remote is easier to operate than my last one, and so far the only problem Ive had is having to recalibrate the remote to the base after changing batteries//customer service was great at assisting me with that. It was so easy to put together, I did it by myself (Im a female over 65). Worth the money.
