For the price, you cannot beat it! Im going to write a review based on the questions I had reading other reviews prior to receiving my package today. First, I ordered on a Tuesday and got that Saturday, so shipping was great! The bed did in fact come in two packages. Some other reviewers said their bed arrived two days apart, luckily mind arrived together. I saw a lot of reviews saying that all the pieces werent there. My husband and I thought the same thing when opening both boxes. We were missing slats, all hardware, side boards, etc. It wasnt until we laid the headboard down and saw the velcro on the back with a sign that basically states all other parts were inside the headboard!! Such a great way to ship everything safely. I do wish they would let you know when you purchase, because I do see why people would freak out at first, but it wasnt a big deal / especially if you take the time to review your purchase. My words of advice: 1. Buy this bed its great and seems sturdy 2. read read read and follow the instructions so that every screw and rail lines up perfectly. Do not try and do this on your own! 3. Have patience! It took us about 2.5 hours total working together but it was worth it. 4. Lastly, we used with a 10 casper mattress, no foundation/box spring. Not needed and no gap. I hope that covered all my fears I had and helped someone not freak out :)
