The frame is nice and sturdy once you get it together. As others have stated the pieces dont always fit as they should and it can be a pain to get it assembled though. My main complaint is that it claims no box spring is needed, yet the support s are quite wide. In fact the supports are fully two and a quarter times the recommended distance for my beds manufacturer, and three inches more than the two futon frames in my house. If you have a soft mattress, or a bed in the box youll likely need a hard surface over the s to accommodate this. Without that you may have issues with the head or foot of the mattress having no support and sagging as I do.
