For the price I didnt see anything that comes close
Ive actually slept on this a few nights while waiting on my bed, yes it is very firm. I would have loved a cushy or microfiber couch but I just moved into a small apartment in the city so space was an issue and I didnt want to spend a thousand or more dollars. It looks great, fits my tiny living room and is extremely functional due to the modular sectioning.
