I'm not really that attentive to measurements but the width of this chair sold me on it! I wasn't conscious of exactly how low it would be so I became worried once it was brought to my attention, by my sister, after I'd purchased it! lol.. It is low, but it is lovely also! The lowness doesn't bother me a bit, and it's sturdy. It is little firm, but in my mind that means it'll last longer!
