Assembly was super easy. I had extra hands for a few things but I could have done it myself (not to brag, just for reference lol). It is lower to the ground than I expected but its totally fine. For the price, the comfort level is great. I am 58 and can easily sprawl out without my legs being crunched up. Pet hair easily brushes right off of the velvet which is lovely. Overall, great quality purchase.
Sidenote: the back of the couch faces my desk so I dont mind the unfinished look of it, but if youre going to have the back visible that is something I would consider.
