If everyone in your house has big adult feet this may not be the best because you would have to shift the shoes to make the flap shut other than that its great. My you ger sister assembled it so I would say its easy assembly. Doesnt need many tools other than a screwdriver and a power drill. Cute and sturdy my mom loved it.
