From the moment this product arrived in my house I was impressed. The delivery man was kind enough to carry it into the house for me. It was packed very well. Lots of reenforced edging and corners. The box was damaged in one spot but because of the wonderful packaging the damage wasnt able to reach the product. All the pieces were intact. The bundle that held all the hardware was labeled very well. Even though the company gives you extra hardware, none was needed. Everything was there. As I unpacked all the pieces I made sure to examine everything. No issues to be found. I was able to put the bench together myself (solo). It only took me one hour and 30 minutes. Let me tell you that I am 69 years old with arthritic hands and a bad hip. It took some ingenuity to prop up some pieces for the proper angle to screw some pieces together. I am very pleased with how it looks in my home. Definitely a quality piece of furniture.
P.S. It will be used as a toy box for my grandchildren. That is why I wanted the seat to prop open and not fall down on those tiny precious fingers.
