Color is great, does not clash with my desk, chairs or other pieces. If you have burnt brown or deeper cherry in your room, this will probably blend in fine. Very simple, unremarkable design, but have received several compliments from those who noticed after I put it in. Like the other items I have bought from this manufacturer over the years, it is easy to put together, has good assembly directions, and feels sturdy when finished, never flimsy or wobbly.
