Its a great platform that doesnt require a box mattress. I got a foam m on top and I was worried that it would sag in between the suports. Thankfully this hasnt been the case. Though it is a full thickness mattress. A camping pad might not be so forgiving. Just make sure you have a Phillips Screwdriver. And a better allen wrench would also be good.
