What a great bed. I used a metal 9 box spring and put my 8 mattress on top of it. I didnt want a gap at the head of the bed because the mattress was too low. It looks great. The faux leather is easy to clean with clean water and a towel. It was easy to put together as well. Read the instructions carefully and youll be fine. FYI Its plenty sturdy enough for adult activities.
