Sturdy and quiet frame. We moved the bed several times for best location without issue. Even with a box spring and mattress, there is a sturdy headboard to rest on. The upholstery is of decent quality. I have not needed to clean it yet. Evenly dyed. Yes, that is an issue at times. The bed arrived undamaged. So far I am very happy with my Janford purchase
