Bed arrived within a week. It took about an hour t it together with 2 people. The instructions were simple to understand (mostly just pictures) tools were provided. The bed came together quite nicely. It is very sturdy. It was for my 20 year old nieces first apartment. No box spring needed. She got a nice 12 inch pillow top mattress and combined the height is good. Will post pictures once the curtains are up. Great Buy on a budget.
