I love this bed! It is very sturdy and looks great. Like other reviewers indicate, it took me and my husband about 5 hours to fully assemble (including breaks). The assembly instructions are a series of pictures - so for those with trouble looking at photos and seeing dimensions, it could be a bit more difficult. Just take your time and line up your progress with the layout in the photos and you will be fine! The drawers are a bit small if you plan on replacing your dresser with this - but with some pretty baskets and creativity, it can be done. Plenty of storage if you just plan on using it for extra space. My husband decided to keep his bedside nightstand and so we moved one of the drawers from that part of the bed to align above the other side drawer where there would normally just be a cubby. We had to measure and drill the holes ourselves, but it was quite simple! I use the small slide out table for my phone and my water glass but wouldnt trust it for more than that. Its small - sliding out maybe 5. If you do plan on using this to get rid of a dresser (or because you dont have room for a dresser) plan on buying some pretty baskets and pairing this purchase with the flat velvet hangers offered from Basics. Those are amazing too!
