The hardware are amazingly well organized and the instructions are easy to follow. I could have used a few tips such as to be sure to get the assembly of the first two pieces right or everything will be reversed which you will discover when you add the shelves. Another tip is that the two doors are not interchangeable and you can get the first one upside down the secret is to go where the magnet strip is that secures the doors. I enjoyed assembling the bookcase I am in my 80s and was able to assemble it by myself although getting the doors on was the most difficult to do alone. Tip lay the bookcase on its back to put the doors on. It took me 3-4 hours to assemble, done over a few days. It was fun though and it is a sturdy, good-looking product. A good value and I gave it 5 stars.
