I looked at several beds before deciding on this one. Some reviewers were right that up close the headboard does show all the welding issues, but it doesnt take away from the bed itself. I added some lights and faux vines to mine to give it a bit of a romantic look, and added a 4 inch box spring for height. (I was used to having a taller bed before). Even with the metal box spring on the metal frame, I have not heard this bed make a single squeak in the 2 months I have had it.

I weigh over 200lbs.
