We really like this couch, its so easy to make into a bed. There was a large rip (11 inches) on the underside of the couch but thankfully it was on the underside so I was able to sew it up and it didnt effect functionality. It is quite firm. Im glad we got it on black Friday for half off otherwise I think we would be less satisfied. The color has a hint of teal which is perfect for my home. the legs are a thick plastic so I would be aware of that if you have kids (or adults) that may jump on it
