Roomy, sturdy, good quality, amazing customer service
Summary: chair is awesome, customer service is amazing
My mom bought me this chair for Christmas and when the weather turned warmer I decided to put it together. Its a little challenging to put together only because one step involves a certain amount of strength and youll probably need two people. But besides that its actually pretty simple to assemble - only a handful of steps.
When I went to assemble my chair, I found it was missing one of the large bolts (youre supposed to get 4 short and 2 long, I had 5 short and 1 long). I called FlowerHouse customer service to ask about the specs of the bolt so I could get my own at Lowes, fully expecting this was one of those companies based in China with nonexistent customer service and theyd tell me it had been too long since the chair was purchased, too bad. Imagine my surprise when instead a very pleasant and helpful American man answered the phone, knew exactly which bolt I was talking about, apologized for the mistake and offered to send a replacement out to me that very day. He also was clearly familiar with the design of the chair and informed me that the second bolt was mostly for extra backup in preventing the chair from turning around too much and that I could safely assemble and use the chair without it. So I did, and it worked great! And the promised bolt did indeed come in the mail a couple days later. What wonderful customer service!!
And so the pumpkin chair has become my favorite spot in the whole house (ok technically porch). Its roomy, sturdy, and comfy. My only small complaint is that you can sometimes feel the bar in the center because the cushion is not all that thick and Im not a tiny person. But this is easily solved with an extra pillow. I have the bark color which is neutral and easy to accessorize with pillows.
Love it!!
