This looks great under my pergola. I didnt buy that cover they recommend so my fault leaving it uncovered in the rain. It will absorb heavy downpour. It WILL NOT absorb dropped soda. HIGHLY recommend purchasing the cover at same time. AND yes it took some time putting it together, but we used it as family time.
